What We do.
Our Past Programs
Refugee Women Transitional Support
Refugee Women Transitional Support: A program funded through a grant from The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio. Refugee Women Transitional Support is a childcare cooperative to help women gain economic independence. In the past, RWIA has trained women to become certified childcare providers, enabling them to set up daycare services within their homes.

Life Skills
To help the transition in a new life, RWIA teaches women the life skills they need in their own native language.
Language Mentoring
RWIA pairs refugees with volunteers for one-on-one tutoring for English language proficiency in reading and writing, as well as basic math skills.
